stress fire: combat focused pistol progressions

By far, non-sighted, or "point shooting," ability is the single most necessary fighting skills in any close pistol engagement situation but, it is the most skipped over topic in all of tactical shooting classes. If it is covered it's only gone over briefly and, often times, poorly!

The human weapon system works very differently in a life threatening situation that it does in a safe, well lit, and friendly training environment. Most instructors never take this into account and even the majority of Law Enforcement training lacks focus in these areas. That is a big reason why miss ratios are so high in close range shooting situations.

Your Point Shooting ability stems from your already developed sense of intuition. These are not esoteric skills. They are built on how your system already works on a daily basis. Once developed, good point shooting sense is almost like riding a bicycle, you never really forget.

If you ever wondered what the single most important class for yourself, your wife, or your kids to take with a handgun would be,

THIS IS IT!!

Course Outline:

  • Understanding the Human Weapon System

  • How & Why Point Shooting Works
